Steps at Tiffany's is solely owned & operated by Tiffany Malena. Dancing since age 2-1/2, dancing has gone from a past time to a passion, and now to a career for Tiffany (Mullenhoff) Malena. Tiffany trained with Amy Gall's Dance Studio for 16 years, where she and her team performed and competed at many regional competitions and workshops. Amongst many other places, she danced at the Solstice Day Parade in Santa Barbara, California; Daley Plaza and Navy Pier in Chicago; and Walt Disney World in Florida. Tiffany has taken her own dance team to a wide variety of regional competitions, workshops, fairs, festivals, and entertainment events - including Nashville, Tennessee in 2009, where her dancers performed at the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Wildhorse Saloon in the famous "Music City." In 2011, her dance team performed in Oklahoma City at Leadership Square and at Six Flags in Dallas, Texas. In June 2014 her dance team performed at the Intrepid Space and Air Museum in NYC and trained in master Broadway classes with "So You Think You Can Dance's" season five third runner-up and current "Newsies" cast member, Evan Kasprzak. In June 2017, her dance teams performed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at Barefoot Landing and the Alabama Theater opening for the show "One," while also training with a "One" professional dancer. Most recently, her dance teams trained in Orlando and performed at Universal Studios in June 2021 and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in May 2023!
Tiffany is a 2005 graduate of Leigh High School and is a 2007 graduate of Wayne State College. At Wayne State, Tiffany graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with double majors in Business Management and Human Resource Management. Throughout school, Tiffany taught her own classes before opening up "Steps at Tiffany's" in July 2007. She has taught dance for twenty years and will be beginning her seventeenth season of ownership of Steps at Tiffany's. Tiffany believes positive reinforcement and a positive atmosphere are keys to success in teaching dance.
Tiffany, her husband Sean, and their two daughters Emery (11), and Everly (6), and son Creed (3), live near Leigh.
